How To Reset Your Password
To reset the password associated with your online account, please follow the instructions below.
Important: The sign-in screen may vary depending on whether your provider has set up a custom domain. If you're unsure about where to sign in, kindly contact your provider for the correct login URL. If no custom domain is set up, you can access the login page at clients.taxaroo.com.
Step 1: Open the client sign-in page and click on Forgot Password located below the email address and password fields.
Step 2: On the following screen, enter the email address associated with your account, and a secure reset link will be sent to you.
Step 3: Check your inbox for an email titled "Your password reset link", and click on the link provided. Please be aware that this link will expire after 24 hours and can only be used once.
Step 4: Once you open the link, you'll be prompted to set a new password.
Tip: For a more secure password system, prioritize password diversity. It's best to have a policy that includes various difficult-to-guess passwords. Here are some recommendations to enhance your organization's security:
- Require a minimum password length of 8 characters (longer isn't necessarily better).
- Avoid enforcing specific character compositions, such as " *&(^%$ ".
Step 5: Sign in to the client portal using your email address and the newly set password.
